Geocache Description:

A relatively quick and easy cache, placed here to bring you to see the view! You can park with care on the road at N51°20.386 E001°01.009.

This cache is placed near the Wraik Hill Local Nature Reserve, in a spot with fantastic views across the Seasalter Levels and across the Swale to the Isle of Sheppey.

Wraik Hill is an area of small fields, scrub and woodland and is deemed locally important as a Local Nature Reserve and Local Wildlife Site. In the summer many warblers and nightingales nest in the scrub. The land is grazed using ponies and Highland cattle, to help keep the grass short and to allow a wide range of grassland species to grow. In addition to the scrub removal done by Kent Wildlife Trust volunteers, large machinery is periodically brought in to help combat increasing levels of scrub in some parts of the nature reserve.

The cache container is a small decon tub. Please take care when searching for the cache, as we did clear away some broken glass when we placed it. At the time of placing the cahce contained a pen and notebook, a geocoin, and some small swaps.
