IN THE
DARK
You will need a good torch.
A head torch is ideal, but if you use a hand torch, then you should
hold it at head height to illuminate the
markers.
Good footwear is also
advised as the trail goes up and down and is very uneven in places.
After rain, there may be some mud.
From the parking area, go
via the Trailhead (Waypoint below) to Start at the published
coordinates where you will find your first 2 markers which are
close together.
Then follow the trail of
markers until you find the cache location which is indicated by
several markers on a single tree:
The cache is at the base of
this tree.
There are many changes of
direction and turns on this route, so keep your GPS on, so that if
you cannot see the next marker, you can return to your last
confirmed sighting.
Be careful of low branches
close to the path, especially when you make a Right
turn!!
A large parking area is
Waypointed below.
We have done our best to
make the route accessible to wheelchair users but some sections may
prove difficult. A couple of helpers / pushers will be
needed.
The route should be OK for
off road pushchairs.
Don't forget your spare
batteries.
Please.....Trade
Fairly.....and.....Leave the cache well
covered.
It has taken
us several hours to reconnoitre the route and place the
markers.
Please....Take
a couple of minutes to make sure the cache is
concealed.
