Sussi e Biribissi
Mentre riordinavo vecchie casse di libri nella cantina della casa dei miei genitori, mi è capitato tra le mani un vecchissimo libriccino malridotto: l'ho riconosciuto subito era “Sussi e Biribissi” che mi leggeva mia madre da bambino. Ho avuto un botto di deja-vu: l'ultima volta che l'ho avuto tra le mani avrò avuto 10 anni, inutile dire che me lo sono riletto e piano piano il racconto è emerso dalle nebbie della memoria: Sussi e Biribissi sono due ragazzini nati dalla penna di Paolo Lorenzini, detto Collodi Nipote in quanto nipote del più celebre Carlo Lorenzini, autore di Pinocchio. Nel racconto i due ragazzi vogliono raggiungere il centro della terra, come nel racconto di Jules Verne, passando dalle fogne di Firenze. Inutile dire che non lo raggiungeranno, ma gliene capiteranno di tutti i colori. Li accompagna Buricchio, un gatto parlante, certamente il più intelligente dei tre, per strada incontreranno la talpa Sforacchiona, il frate Frà Cencino, il brigadiere Frustabarili, finiranno in una cantina di un convento, in prigione, in manicomio e poi di nuovo liberi, ma al centro della terra non ci arriveranno.
La cache è nascosta vicino ad un punto in cui si può entrare nelle fogne di Firenze passando dal Mugnone, ma voi non avrete bisogno di entrarci!
While I was sorting up an old chest of books in the cellar of my parents' house, I found out an old little book rather tatty: I ecognized it immediately: it was “Sussi e Biribissi” that my mother used read to me when I was a child. It was a deja-vu: the last time that I had it in my hands I was ten, it is useless to say that I red the fairy tale again and the memory begun to serve me again: Sussi e Biribissi are two young boys created by Paolo Lorenzini, known as Collodi Nephew because he was the nephew of Carlo Lorenzini, the Author of Pinocchio. In the tale the two boys want to reach the centre of the earth, like in the tale of Jules Verne through the Florence sewers. It is useless to say that they will never arrive to the centre of the earth but several advenures will happen to them. With them is going a speaking cat: Buricchio, for sure the most clever of the three, on the way they will meet the mole Sforacchiona, the friar Frà Cencino, the sergeant Frustabarili, they will pass through the cellar of a convent, a jail, a mad-house and again free, but they will never arrive to the centre of the earth.
The cache is a hidden near a point from which you an enter the Florence sewers passing by the Mugnone river, but to find the cache you don't need to enter them!
