Footpath MR168 - Through the Quarry
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions

The whole country is made up of public footpaths, bridleways and byways. These are all ancient rights of way, and we have the right to walk them whenever we choose. In Kent alone we have over 4,000 miles of these paths that cross all forms of land from public places to farmers fields. Unless people walk them they are prone to be lost forever, and so this group of caches are placed on, or, at the start of these public paths.
This path is part of the Weald Way, a long distance path that starts at Gravesend and finishes in Eastbourne. I walked the whole length of the this path a couple of years ago. This path leads you through a working quarry. All paths are fenced so you cannot wandner, but be careful with young children and dogs as you cross the tracks used. Under the subway, turn right and walk through woods that are covered in bluebells, and a pleasure for the eye. The cache is not placed near any working areas.
