The whole country is made up of public footpaths, bridleways and byways. These are all ancient rights of way, and we have the right to walk them whenever we choose. In Kent alone we have over 4,000 miles of these paths that cross all forms of land from public places to farmers fields. Unless people walk them they are prone to be lost forever, and so this group of caches are placed on, or, at the start of these public paths.
This Byway runs from Wrotham up to Vigo village. This is used frequently by off raod cycles and cars, so does get rather muddy and good boots are recomended. Come May, the woodland either side of this path is a wash with bluebells.
You are looking for a round container twice the size of a micro, but only caintains a log scroll, so please bring your own pen. There would be room for small coins only. Although on a byway, you cannot park near the cache as it is also used as an access road for a couple of houses a few hundred yards down the lane.
