Please take care where you walk when visiting this cache the area has been left to grow for the wildlife in the area. Although this area is off the main path, the park is keen to have visitors over there and are working to make it a more accessible.
This is version 3 of this cache, after the first 2 got muggled. Wanted to do one like this ever since we first did one ourselves. (Hopefully it has been constructed OK, lol). Cache is next to a stream which you do not need to cross, and there is no need to climb.
The park itself is wheelchair and pushchair friendly, but the actual cache location isn't. This area is known to flood so please take care. There is lots of water around so extra care should be taken with small children and due to the water the keepers have asked for you not to go out looking after dark, please.
This park is being looked after by a group of Volunteers working for the good of the community, they started to work on this project in 2006 and the park has changed so much over the last few years to find out more about the volunteers please visit (visit link)
In the park there is plenty to do - Children’s play area, Large grassy area for ball games, baseball nets and a number of picnic areas. Also don’t forget some bread for the ducks and geese.
Dogs are allowed in the park but not within the fenced off play area.
