You're looking for a regular size lock-n-lock container. Thanks to my wife who came up with the idea, I decided to place this cache in memory of our Papa who's favorite color was purple.
When Papa retired from the military in 1971, he & Gma made their home in nearby San Angelo, but moved to Florida in 1987. Twenty years later, in 2007, they moved back here to be nearer to family. Papa passed just a year later on July 9, 2008.
Before he passed, Papa said he wanted to travel somewhere between Cross Plains and Coleman because it's the one area that hadn't changed in the 20 years he was away. This cache is placed here as a symbol of his travel back to this area.
While you're here, please take the time to enjoy the scenic view. Papa will appreciate it! Also, if you're so inclined, please use the logbook to write about someone special you've lost in your life.
