The cache is located in the Mehrauli archeological park which i compare with the "Roman Forum" with the Qutab minar as a backdrop, similar to the Colosseum in Rome :). The cache lies in the boundary wall of the enclosed octagonal tomb. This tomb lies close to the Jamali kamali mosque. Other nearby monuments of interest are the Jamali kamali mosque, Balban's tomb, Rajon ki baoli, Gandhak baoli.
It will be easier if you have done the Haus Khas Cache in Delhi (N 28° 33.227 E 077° 11.625). Look for some of the hints there. Please note that you cannot see the cache , so please secure the catch firmly.
The closest metro station is Qutab Minar.
It is advisable to carry water and some snacks. It takes about 2 hours to see all the monuments. A good time to visit the park is 4pm-6pm or early morning. The monuments are open from sunrise to sunset. no admission fee. The picnic park near the metcalf folly gives some nice views of the Qutab.
