Twin glens, one on Mount Majura the other on Black Mountain. Both are cool, running down to the south-west, moist and verdant. Both have a delightful path traversing them. Each path has a little bridge where it crosses the watercourse. The views from these bridges are very fine. There is now a cache under each bridge.
Park at 35 16.675 149 05.923. No need to go bush - just stay on the 'hat band path' around the crown of the hill. The path is wonderful. You walk in a full circle with great views to all points of the compass. But strangely, you sometimes don't notice that the view has utterly changed - the slope of the mountain side looks the same, the path looks the same, but the foliage, as well as the view, is quite different in different parts of the path. The stroll takes maybe 30 minutes, but if you are in a hurry go anti-clockwise by crossing the road from the above coordinates and following the path (a great short walk, but you won't know the wonders you've missed).
