| Sredi strmega pobocja pod vasico Kebelj stoji spodnji kebeljski grad imenovan tudi Zbegov grad. Mimo njega, tik nad kebeljskim potokom se je v vijugah vzpenjala stara cesta dravinjskih romarjev k Svetim Trem kraljem, v Ruše, Pušcavo in k Sv. Arehu. Številni takratni pohorski in dravinjski božjepotniki so namrec kar peš potovali preko Pohorja na severno stran v Pušcavo, da bi tam prosili za zdravje in sreco v družini. Pot jih je vodila mimo tega in zgornjega kebeljskega gradu, ki sta bila v lasti dveh roparskih vitezov. Oba gradova sta bila povezana s podzemnim hodnikom, ki je lastnikoma služil v zvite namene... |

The Bottom Keblj castle is located in the middle of the steep slope, beneath the Kebelj village. Sometimes it is also named Zbegov castle. Passing it, right above the Keblej stream, curves an old pilgrimage road leading to Holy Three Kings, in Ruše, Pušcavo, and to St. Areh. Numerous pilgrims used to pass trough here to the other side of Pohorje by foot, all the way up to the Pušcava on the northern side, to ask and prey for happiness and health in the family. The road lead them by this and Upper Keblj castle, that were owned by two robber knights. Both castles were connected by a secret underground tunnel, that served their owners for their wicked plans... |

| Ta kebeljska viteza sta imela navado, da si z ropanjem mimoidocih prisvajata srebro in zlato, ki je bilo namenjeno Mariji v Pušcavo. Uspevalo jima je dolga leta, dokler ne pripotuje mimo lepa romarka. Napadli so jo razbojniški hlapci, viteza pa sta jo kot rešitelja spravila v prvo nadstropje grašcine, kjer je od strahu omedlela. Najprej sta jo oropala, nato pa prenesla po podzemnem rovu v muceniški stolp gornjega gradu. Njeno vpitje so slišali slucajno mimoidoci, ki so prosili za pomoc dva prisotna dravinjska viteza. Ta sta s pomocjo Pohorcev in Dravincev grad zažgala, razbojniška viteza pa predala v grajske jece oplotniškega gradu. Od takrat so pohorske božje poti zopet varne in še danes planinci vzdržujejo tradicionalni pohod na Sv. Areh. |

These two knights used to rob the pilgrims of their gold and silver, that was intended for Mother Mary in Pušcava. They continued with this for years, until a beautiful woman passed by on her pilgrimage. She was attacked by the knights servants, and lured into the castle by knights, pretending to be her saviors. She passed out from the fear. First they robbed her and then carried her through the secret tunnel to the tower of the Upper castle. Her shouting was heard by the people passing by, that asked for help two knights form Drava valley that were there. These two knights, with the help of people fro Pohorje, burned down the castle, and handed their owners to the jails of castle in Oplotnica. From that time on, the roads of Pohorje, are safe once again and even today, the mountaineers upkeep the traditional hike to St. Areh. |

| Ob obisku tega gradu poskušajte podoživeti nadzor tedanjih grajskih lastnikov nad staro potjo. Od parkirnega mesta se napotite ob levem bregu kebeljskega potoka do mlina, nato zavijte preko trhle brvi na desno stran potoka ter po rahlo shojeni potki nadaljujte pot do grajskih ostankov. While visiting this castle try to relive the oversight of their former owners over the old road. From the parking space head on on the left side of Kebelj stream up to the mill, than turn and go over the footbridge to the right side of stream, and continue to the castle remains.
