This cache has been placed to celebrate the planting of the Broughton Astley village orchard on 12.3.2011. The 17 trees and numerous fruit bushes were planted by a small group of local volunteers, supported by members of the village Scout group.
The fruit trees include a number of different varieties of apple, plus plum & pear. Also planted were gooseberry, blackthorn & hazelnut bushes.
The orchard is at the start of a footpath which is very popular with dog walkers, so watch out for muggles!
You are looking for a 4” long tube. Please replace it exactly as you found it.
Congratulations to geocachepete for FTF.
