uniformed officer on Te Atatu Road. Before he could approach the
vehicle, shots were fired and he was fatally
wounded." |

little hesitation on the suspect's part. They fired 3 shots at the
officer and then fled the scene on foot." |
| "Fortunately another unit was in the area and arrived
at the scene just 4 minutes later. They spotted the suspect in a

different locations in the park before entering another vehicle, a
