There are two approaches to this cache, depending on whether you want to park "above" it or "below" it. I recommend taking the MRT to Dahu Park station and approaching the cache from this direction. It is also possible to approach it from the Bi Shan Temple area, but the walk is not as pleasant, in my opinion. Because of the geography and heavy tree cover, your GPS signal may be unsteady. The hints should be helpful.
I have been enjoying this area for nearly 20 years. It has changed a lot during this time and now, thanks to the MRT line, a lot of others are discovering it as well. The area can be quite crowded on weekends though during the week it is mostly just us folks from the neighborhood.
Everyone who I have brought to this area says the same thing: "Wow! I can't believe we are still in Taipei!"
My 9-year-old daughter and I have enjoyed geocaching together over the past year. This is our first cache. We live within 1km of the cache and my hope is that she will be responsible to care for the cache by herself as she grows up.
