You are looking for a magnetic nano containing a log book. Bring your own pen(cil) and tweezers will be a must too! Stealth will be required in this busy part of south Gorleston!
The British Gas Beacon at Gorleston was built in 1999 by Seatrax Fabrication in Great Yarmouth. It was floated down the Thames in London on a barge for the Millennium Celebrations. At 9.45pm on the 31st December 1999 the Queen lit the flame. The flame leapt 3 metres above the Beacon (the biggest of a chain of 4,000 nationwide). It returned to Gorleston after the Millennium celebrations and now marks the entrance to Beacon Park. The beacon is the height of two double-decker buses, the width of a tennis court and weighs 25 tons.
