Stoletja so minevala in zgodba o skritem zakladu se je prenašala iz roda v rod. Tako je nekoc reven kmet z okolice obeh gradov prosil Marijo, naj mu pomaga najti zaklad. Njej naj bi dal polovico, drugo polovico pa si bo pravicno razdelil s sovašcani.   The centuries passed and the story of the hidden treasure was passed on from generation to generation. It once happened, that a poor peasant from the area asked the Mother Mary for help to find the treasure. He promised her a half of it, and the other half was supposed to be equally distributed trough the village.
Kmetu je res uspelo zaklad najti na vrhu podzemnega rova, ki je bil speljan v muceniški stolp gornjega gradu. Natovoril ga je na cizo in se odpravil z njim naravnost proti kebeljski cerkvi, da Mariji izroci njeno polovico zaklada. Toda oglasila se mu je požrešnost, zato je sklenil cel zaklad obdržati zase. Tako se je že po 43% prehojene poti odlocil, da bo postal bogat gospod in hitro zavil desno, pravokotno na prejšnjo smer, da si poišce primerno skrivališce blizu svojega doma. Toda glej zlomka, komaj je napravil dvajset korakov, se mu je vdrlo. Izginil je pod zemljo in še do danes niso našli ne njega ne zaklada. Morda ga boste vi?
