Geocache Description:

This is a traditional cache using a Lock&Lock container, plenty of room for small trinkets and trackables. The cache contains log and writing utensil. The name "Woodpecker Haven" comes from the expansive area of habitat suitable for all types of woodpeckers. Bring along your binoculars and camera and maybe get at chance look at a Pileated Woodpecker! Listen for the different woodpeckers in the area. A birder's delight! Be prepared for a short hike off the road.
