Krung Kasem Canal Walk List
A major bridge for Bangkok
Commissioned by King Rama V in and opened on his 50th birthday in 1900 so he could travel to Dusit Palace. It is a central position and important bridge over what was seen as the city wall or limits. Now the UN has a prominent building there and Rachadamnoen Avenue leads off on one side the the grand palace and Ratanakosin Island and the other to the Parliament building and Dusit palace.
