HI i am the cache no one wanted.
I've actually been part of the geocache protection program in this spot since october of 2003. I was hid by a big harry guy and just left out here for years on my own.
One night some cachers came out hunting for me. One seemed to be a pretty cool guy, One kept crying about all the scratches he had suffered during the last cache they had hunted. One seemed like he wouldnt have been able to find his own way out of the woods. and one was just laughing at all of the other cachers. (ill let you decide which was which)
Anyway they realized i was full of water and my log was no good anymore.They didnt have another container with them so they did what they could to dry me out and left me where they found me.
One of the cachers let the big harry guy know what was wrong with me. Well a nice cacher (so i thought)named Filbertv saw the logs and he came out and replaced me and my log.
When Filbertv let the Big harry Monkey know what he had done. My owner just offered to give me away but Filbertv didnt want me.So thats how i got my new name.
At the next MTGC event MLRS1996 told the big harry guy that he would replace me if he wanted him to. And just take a wild guess what the big guy did next, yep... he tried to give me away again.As if once wasnt enough. This time it was accepted so now i have a new owner.
MLRS1996 set me up a new cache page so i could tell my sad little story of abandonment and now im ready to be hunted.
So ill be watching for the harry one and that Filbertv guy. And if i see them coming im hiding extra good so hopefully they can't find me. If they didnt want me then hopefully i can keep the smiley from them. But what ever you do, do not tell them where im hiding and hopefully they will just mark me off as missing. so good luck to every one else.
