Black Hawk (1767-1838) was a leader and warrior of the Sauk tribe. He was not one of the Sauk chiefs. His status came from leading war parties as a young man and from his leadership of a band of Sauk during the Black Hawk War of 1832.
During the War of 1812 Black Hawk fought on the side of the British. Later he lead a band of Sauk and Fox warriors, known as the British Band, against European-American settlers in Illinois and Wisconsin in the 1832 Black Hawk War.
You are hunting a very small container. Please return the cache to it’s original position so others may have the same experience as you have had. BYOP
