Lothlórien is the fairest forest realm of the Elves remaining in Middle-earth during the Third Age.
Early in the First Age some of the Eldar left the Great March and settled in the lands east of the Misty Mountains. These elves became known as the Nandor and later the Silvan Elves. By S.A. 1200 Galadriel had made contact with an existing Nandorin realm, Lindórinand, in the area that would later be known as Lothlórien, and planted there the golden mallorn trees which Gil-galad had received as a gift from Tar-Aldarion.
The realm plays an important part in The Lord of the Rings as the Elven centre of resistance against Sauron.
Visit Lothlórien and gaze with wonder at the beautiful mallorn trees in this enchanted cache location. These trees are stunning and every part of their trunks, branches and leaves are magical.
But beware, there are evil forces afoot and eyes that can't be trusted may be peering between bushes, through windows or in cars.
Please place cache back exectly as found. You will be traveling the Elven trail...there are felled limbs near the trail from raiding Orcs....but they missed the cache under the end of one of them. Watch for Sauron's eye peering out nearby windows!!!!!
