Buzby was a yellow (or later orange) talking cartoon bird,
launched in 1976 as a marketing campaign by the then Post Office
Telecommunications, which later became British Telecommunications
(BT). Buzby appeared in a series of television commercials with the
catchphrase: "Make someone happy with a phone call". It spawned
many marketing items, such as toys, badges, a comic strip in "TV
Comic", and books, and lasted until well into the 1980s. Buzby's
voice was provided by Bernard Cribbins. There is a small parking
area right in front of the cache. Please take the hand of small
children as this can be a pretty busy road. It is within a 30 mph
area, but some speeders go past. There is a log inside, but please
bring your own pen or pencil.
