Geocache Description:

This is a small plastic container that contains a log and small sized swag for the children. It's hidden in downtown Childress, TX in its Gazebo Park.

Childress County was organized in February 1887 with the arrival of the Fort Worth and Denver Railway. Childress downtown still features bricked paved streets on Main, Commerce and adjoining streets. Childress developed this Gazebo park in the '90s. Different organizations take turns in the upkeep of the Gazebo park. A variety of events takes place here throughout the year. Happy Geocaching!
