Geocache Description:

You are searching for a medium-sized pill bottle that is covered with camo tape. This shouldn't be a tough find for most. Some bushwhacking will be required during the summer. Container has trinkets for the kiddies and a "dead president" for the FTF. Also contains log sheet and pencil. Large enough for small trade items but most likely too small for most travel bugs.

There are only a couple of caches in the Colo area and I decided that this was a good place for a hide. This cache is called "Where Presidents Meet" because it is close to the corner of where US 30 and US 65 meet. It is located along the old Lincoln Highway (which was US 30) and the Jefferson Highway (which is US 65).

There is a small complex across the street called "Niland's." There are a lot of vintage "Americana" things here, including an old gas station with vintage gas pumps and signs, a 50's-style diner (that isn't open any longer) and an old motel (that might be open... hard to say). It's a very cool little piece of Americana right here in Central Iowa.

I would recommend that you park by the blue electrical building just to the west of GZ and west/north of the road. You can park on the shoulder as well, but there can be a lot of traffic here at times. There is a parking lot across the road at the Niland's complex and you could probably park there. It's entirely off the road. Use stealth if you are planning to park here and also watch for traffic.

Enjoy the cache and thank you for geocaching Story County!

*Congrats to trex1 on the FTF!*
