Geocache Description:

This is the "FTF-Day" Challenge Cache...a geocaching challenge.

Are you one of those people who waits in line on the day that the newest technological doodad is released, or who is always there on Opening Day for a new movie, or...more importantly...who always vies to claim a geocache find on the day the listing was first posted? If so, this challenge will be right up your alley!

To claim the smiley for this cache, you have to have found at least 10 geocaches ON THE DAY THE CACHE WAS FIRST PUBLISHED (i.e., "FTF Day"). As geocaching rules prohibit a challenge to be dependent on the actions of other geocachers, you do NOT need to be the official "FTF" (first-to-find) for the 10 caches...you just need to have found the caches on the same calendar days on which the caches were published.

You may find the cache and sign the log at any time...it IS at the posted coordinates and is a ridiculously-easy magnetic guard rail hide on what I believe is a COMPLETELY unnecessary guard rail. However, you cannot claim the official find until after you've made your 10 FTF-Day finds.

Be careful...the first place some cachers will look appears to have a wasp's nest, so I avoided placing the cache by the nest, and I don't want anyone to accidentally be stung because they reached before looking.

When you log your find for this cache, you will need to list the names and GC numbers of the 10 FTF-Day caches you're using for your claim..and, for fun, you might also want to list for which of those caches you can claim the bragging rights for the legitimate "FTF" title. You can also reflect on the people you kept on bumping into in your quest, as I expect that some geocachers will keep running into each other as they fulfill the requirements for this challenge.

Good luck with the challenge...and cache on!
