Update 2024 as the Cache is obviously in a bad shape, the path down from Agaethe closed, I would like to close the cache. Unfortunately, I will not take a plane anymore to safe our planet and will not be able to get it out there. Alemine is long out of business. 12 years after release was a long time....
So, the next cacher looking for it, taking it out, disposing it and sending me proof of having done this (the log book and a pic of the cache in the bin), will get a nice reward from me. Looking forward to hear from you soon, Japeg

El último rey de los nativos, el Guanarteme de Gáldar, tuvo que irse aquí al exilio. Hay lugares mas peores... hoy se encuentra una finca hermosa allí, sino no hay casi nada en la playa.
El modo mas lindo de encontrar el Cache es ir a pie. Así el camino de 2,5 km dura 1:10h en cada dirección, porque se tiene que subir y bajar algunas veces hasta 200m.
Prestar atención a la clasificación de la región! Por favor andeís solo con zapatos resistentes, suficiente protección de sol y agua al sitio. La cala es un lugar muy lindo para relajar, pero no hay posibilidades de suministro.
Los que quieren ser mas rápido pueden andar con el coche mas cerca a la cala y al Final. Pero: No se puede estacionar donde está la indicación, los alquileres de coches no deberían ver el camino hasta la cala – al fin y al cabo el camino es el destino. Por eso no explicamos el camino “con coche” mas detallado. Lo vaís a lograr solos.
Se empieza en N 28° 05.977 W 15° 42.360. Aquí se puede estacionar y - lo mas importante – abastecer con agua y comida en el supermercado.
También se tiene que descubrir algo aquí: En las coordenadas que habíamos escrito hay X obeliscos.
La indicación se encuentra en un Mikro en N 28° 05.(X*100)-2)
W 15° X2.290.
Siguid la calle (a pie) en dirección Este hasta la proxima cruce. Aquí empieza el camino hasta Tamadaba, caminad por este camino. Despúes se tiene que caminar unos cienes de metros por la carretera costera. Luego empieza la bajada hasta la cala.
Aquí se encuentra el Mikro de indicación al lado del camino. En N 28° 05.198 W 15° 42.579 hay un monumento en la cala.
De aquí se tiene que sondear el Final con ayuda de las indicaciones que habíamos escrito.

It is told that the last king of the ancient Canarios, the Guanarteme of Gáldar, went into exile to the beach after the Conquista in 1478. From our today's point of view he could have made worse choices … nowadays the beach is mostly abandoned. A nice Finca is the only resident and on weekends the Canarian people visit the place.
The best approach to the cache is taking the coastal path. Then, its a hike of about 1:10 h per direction. Even if only 2,5 km total distance (one way), the maximum height above sea level is almost 200 m. So, observe the T-level! Proper shoes, sun protection and especially enough water are a must! You can take a wonderful rest at the beach, but there are no further options for refill.
Impatient or being in a hurry cachers can get a little closer to the beach by car. But: there is not really space to park near the hint (2nd station), the little dirt road towards the beach is the nightmare of the car rental and hey – isn't this all about hiking? Thus, we expressively do not explain the approach by car. We are sure you can find out yourself if needed.
Start coordinates are at N 28° 05.977 W 15° 42.360. Here, you can park your car and equip yourself at the supermarket with food and especially with water.

The hint (2nd station), a small green micro, will be found at N 28° 05.(A*100)-2) W 15° A2.290.
Walk towards East. At the next crossing (some 100 meters) take the coastal path towards Tamadaba which must be taken until the road is reached again. The way to the beach follows the road for a few hundred meters, there the descend to the beach begins. The hint is hidden next to the path.
At the beach, at N 28° 05.198 W 15° 42.579, you will find a memorial. From here, locate the final with the values given in the hint.

Hierhin ist der letzte König der Altkanarier, der Guanarteme von Gáldar, nach der Conquista 1478 ins "Exil" gegangen. Wir meinen, es gibt schlimmere Plätze ....heute ist dort eine nette Finca, ansonsten ist der Strand relativ verlassen. Am schönsten kann man den Cache zu Fuß erledigen, dann ist es ein Marsch von etwa 1:10 h pro Richtung. Die Distanz beträgt nur 2,5 km, aber unterwegs geht es 200 m hoch und wieder herunter. Achtung, Geländewertung beachten ! Bitte nur mit geeigneten Schuhen, ausreichend Sonnenschutz und Wasser angehen ! In der Bucht kann man herrlich pausieren, aber es gibt dort keine weitere Versorgungsmöglichkeit.
Für ganz Eilige kann man auch mit dem Wagen etwas näher an die Bucht und den Final heranfahren. Aber: beim Hinweis kann man eigentlich nicht parken, den Fahrweg Richtung Bucht sollten Autovermieter besser nicht sehen - und letztlich ist doch der Weg das Ziel ! Wir erklären den Weg "mit Auto" hier deshalb nicht genauer. Das schafft Ihr dann schon selbst.
Start ist bei N 28° 05.977 W 15° 42.360. Hier kann man parken und sich im Supermarkt mit Wegverpflegung und vor allen Dingen Wasser versorgen. Außerdem gibt es hier was zu ermitteln:
An den angegebenen Koordinaten stehen A Obelisken.
Der Hinweis befindet sich in einem Mikro bei N 28° 05.(A*100)-2) W 15° A2.290.
Folgt der Straße (zu Fuß) Richtung Osten bis zur nächsten Kreuzung. Hier beginnt der Wanderweg nach Tamadaba, dem Ihr erstmal folgt. Es geht dann (leider) ein paar hundert Meter die Küstenstraße entlang, dann erfolgt der Abstieg zur Bucht. Hier liegt der Hinweismikro neben dem Pfad.
Bei N 28° 05.198 W 15° 42.579 steht in der Bucht ein Mahnmal. Von hier aus müsst Ihr mit den Angaben aus dem Hinweis auf den Final peilen.
P.S. Als wir den Cache ausgelegt haben, war unkanarisch ekelhaft kaltes Regenwetter. Wir bitten also im Log um viele schöne SONNIGE Eindrücke von der Bucht. Danke !
