An easy-to-find Letterbox, that I have been given permission to place here.
Once upon a time An old HAG felt like she needed a new interest.
One day, her daughter told The old HAG, how her uncle-in-law had told her about an interest that he had; Geocaching.
Soon the old HAG was Geocaching herself.
Before long, The old HAG didn't feel so old anymore.
It is now a long time since anyone has seen the old HAG as she is missing in action - still geocaching.
Letter box hybrids, for those that don't know contains a stamp and a log book, it may also contain swaps. The idea is that you bring along your stamp and stamp the cache log book, then use the cache stamp to stamp your log book (if you have one).
The idea is to collect stamps from as many letter caches as you can. If you are not collecting stamps you can treat this as a normal cache, by signing the log book and making swaps as usual.
YOU DON'T NEED A STAMP TO COMPLETE THIS CACHE
PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STAMP FROM THIS CACHE.
Substitute the letters of the alphabet for numbers ...
For example; A = 1 and E = 5 and I = 9, but please note that the combination is NOT the numbers 1,5,& 9. You have to do the conversion yourself.
Lock instructions;
1. Align the numbers from top to bottom along the red line on the padlock.
It was also a very overcast day when I placed this cache, however, even if the co-ordinates are a fraction out, you should have no trouble locating the stash
