Boardwalk In Bodega???
I spent a few days camping at Wright's beach just after the tsunami that hit Japan. The waves were crashing way up the beach and the sound was indescribable.
While spending my weekend here I took a short stroll along the coast starting at Wright's beach and ending at goat rock. This is the Kutrom trail. Several locations along this trail are made up of long wooden walkways that allow access across wetlands. This was my first trip out this trail and it was lined by wild Iris, daffodils and calla lilies. A great place for a cache.
Don't stop at the cache because this the hike is not over, just around the corner is the best part. Don't forget to bring a pen the container is too small for one.
