A has a head and body length of 3.7- 4 inches and a bit of a long nose.. Tail length: 3.7- 5 inches. Weight: 1-1.7 ounces. Color: fur is long and soft; the upper parts are sandy brown, pale buff, orange buff, or pale grayish buff. It is insectivorous. A is the number of letters in the second part of the name. Oops..reduce that number by one.

B digs pits in dry, sunny spots sheltered from wind and rain, particularly on south-facing slopes. Pushing itself backward, it first draws a circle on the ground. Then, digging deeper and deeper, it spirals in toward the center. After only about 15 minutes, it has made a funnel-shaped crater in the earth. Ants that fall in can't climb out, and land in the jaws of the creature waiting at the bottom.B is the sixth letter of its name. Convert the letter to the number it resembles.

C is a bird that builds massive loose thorny nests in the forks of acacia or baobab trees or on man made structures and these are used as communal roosts. They are noisy and gregarious birds, frequently found feeding on the ground. C is the number of letters in the third word of its four word name.

D is a large and attractively marked tortoise which has a wide distribution in sub-Saharan Africa, including recorded localities in southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Eastern Africa , Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Angola and Southwest Africa. It is the biggest land tortoise in South Africa, weighing as much as 23 kg for females or 35kg for males with a shell length of up to 400mm or almost a metre if measured over the high-domed carapace. D is the third letter of its name converted to the number it resembles as in B above.

E is a beetle which grows to be between 1 and 2 .5 inches long and belongs to the family of scarab beetles. Both sexes have horns, making it difficult to distinguish between them. Male beetles use these horns for fighting rival males over feeding sites or females. They also use them to forage through heavy litter on the jungle floor or to dig their way to safety. This beetle can carry 850 times its own weight. That's equivalent to a man lifting a stack of 76 family sized cars. In spite of their fierce appearance, they are all totally harmless and are sometimes kept as pets. E is the number of letters in the feature of this beetle which gives it its name minus one Use the singular please..

F is the name of this group of five animals. F is the last word of this group name.
