This is an urban hide in Kanata, which is in a residential area, so is not advisable for dogs. Parking is available only feet away. There is no swamp or bushwacking involved. Stealth may be required due to the proximity of homes.
This cache is hidden in a retaining wall at the end of a dead end street; behind a wooden fence. PLEASE DON'T CLIMB DOWN FROM THE STREET ABOVE. It is at eye level; you will have to climb onto the ledge of the lowest set of rocks. It is very close to a large rock with a vertical crack in it. It is not in or near the hedge, or fence. The best approach to reach this cache is as follows: West on HAZELDEAN, Left turn onto TERRY FOX, Left onto WINCHESTER, Left onto GOWRIE, Left onto GLENMORISTAN where you will proceed around the bend, right to the end where the retaining wall is, with a large yellow caution sign on it. Please rehide and camo when leaving the cache. The cache container is a 35mm film cannister, attached to a fun container, so there isn't room for swag or TB's. Please bring your own writing instrument. Thank you.
