Fourth Ward Treasures - Whoo-who's In the Park? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

JonMcP: Went to check on this little guy after two DNFs. Sadly it has gone missing, although I'll admit that I'm surprised it lasted a full two and a half years.

Geocache Description:

Of all of Charlotte's treasures, the Fourth Ward neighborhood is truly one of the greatest. Blending old Victorian homes with modern condos this neighborhood is, in my opinion, among the best Charlotte has to offer.

This park is kind of the unofficial center of the Fourth Ward neighborhood, and is typical of what makes the neighborhood so interesting. The brown apartments immediately next to the cache are called Booth Gardens, and are a senior citizen housing complex run by the Salvation Army. Some of the homes across the way are valued at over a million dollars. These differences in culture are part of what makes Fourth Ward so special to me.

This is a very high muggle traffic area so use those stealth skills! Heck, even the cache itself may be eyeing you. Not much room, so bring your own pen.

Frankly, I was surprised that I was the first person who gave a hoot enough about the beautiful Fourth Ward Park to actually put a cache out here.

(A special shout out goes to my four year old daughter, who picked the container and location)

*****PLEASE NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE BISON TUBE FROM ITS CONTAINER, JUST UNSCREW THE TOP. THANKS!!!!!!
