CACHE REPLACED MAY 30, 2011

Denman Park: The Park was part of the estate of attorney Gilbert J. Denman Jr., Born in San Antonio and who died at age 83, May 16, 2004.
The property is near the South Texas Medical Center area, Fredericksburg and Callaghan roads. It was the family's country retreat and still is home to its own herd of wandering deer. While the house has a classic, Southern-mansion look, it was built in the 1930s.
The 20.5-acre property was purchased in 2007 for cooperative operation by the city of San Antonio and by the University of the Incarnate Word, with the intention of preserving green space in a highly developed area and of creating a recreation area, retreat center and City Park.
The complex includes a large parking lot, handicap parking, lighted walking trail, picnic facilities and pond fed by a natural well.
There are two walking trails. You will need to be on both to find all of the Geocaches. One trail is handicap accessible and has an accessible drinking fountain. There are no public restrooms on site.
