This can be used as a fairly quick cache and dash. The river bank is our dogs' favourite walk. Plenty of wildlife can be spotted in this area - swans, herons, even kingfishers. The river bank often has friendly cows grazing on it at certain times of year. The views across Mere Fen (to the left of Gz) can be beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset and in frosty weather.
Access to the cache is by a track wide enough for a vehicle to use (the Environment Agency use it to get to Webb's Hole) but the general public don't have direct access by car. The track maybe a bit bumpy for pushchairs but otherwise the path is good. The walk is alongside a waterway so keep an eye on young children. Overcote is a popular place in good weather but the river can flood in wet weather! There is parking just over the humpbacked bridge to the right and left.This is a small vial container containing only a log book, please bring your own pen to sign the log.
