We found a possibility for this with a starting point in Douliana near Kalives. The characteristics of this hike are: Nice little village, a donkey path, a small church in a wood, a streambed, Avocado and Olive Trees, a view to Akrotiri and White Mountains. The starting and the final point is the parking area in Douliana.
How to find Douliana?
Driving on the New Road take the exit Kalama / Kalives Waypoint1: N 35° 28.089 E 024° 08.620 in direction Kalives. In Kalives go straight ahead direction Vamos / Gavalohori (Direction sign). Turn left at Waypoint 2: N 35° 25.560 E 024° 10.940 direction Gavalohori. After a view hundred meters on Waypoint 3: N 35° 25.556 E 024° 11.106 turn left to Ntouliana (Douliana). The parking area is on Waypoint 4: N 35° 25.665 E 024° 11.427.
The hiking tour:
The starting point is the parking area. From here head on to Waypoint 5: N 35° 25.693 E 024° 11.479 turn right and follow the small sign AG IOANNIS. This is an old donkey path. Be careful and do not this way on rainy days because then it is slippery. After a while you will reach the cache area very near AG IOANNIS.
The cache is a Micro (metal container) only with a Logbook. Please don’t forget to bring a pen with you. The cache is not covered with anything. Good luck!
Hopefully you will find the cache. Then follow the way till Waypoint 6: N 35° 25.740 E 024° 11.953 turn left and continue till you reach an asphalt way on Waypoint 7: N 35° 26.144 E 024° 11.560 and turn left. Follow this way back to Douliana and the parking area. You can find the second cache called “Douliana – Almerida” on the cache coordinates N 35° 26.042 E 024° 11.529.
