Cache halvveis opp Nattrudstilen, fra Rømåsen seterområde. Passer bra til en liten trugetur, men det går også med ski om vinteren. Naturligvis også fin sommertur.
Cache half-way up Nattrudstilen from Rømåsen seter. Accessible in winter on skis a little way off the prepared tracks, but also show-shoes are recommended. Also a fine walk in the summer.

Nå er Nattrudstilen mest kjent for hundrevis av hytter, skisenter med alpinbakke, og salg av vafler på Brannhytta. På 50- og 60-årene var det få hytter, rompetroll i det lille vannet med den store steinen, branntårn i aktiv bruk, og trekkspillmusikk på Brannhytta noen ganger vi var på tur. Flott minner!

My grandmother bought a ‘hytte’ at Rømåsen seter in 1957 and all our summer holidays were spent here. There were few cabins and people at that time, so a walk up Nattrudstilen to the firewatcher hut, with firewatcher tower in active use, was a good diversion.
Sometimes we would stop by the pool with the big stone near the top to catch tadpoles and if we were lucky the grandchild of the firewatcher played for us on his accordion.
Now Nattrudstilen is best known for hundreds, if not thousands, of cabins and a ski centre with ski lift. And Arnfinn sells waffles at the firewatcher hut at weekends.
Fine for an evening stroll in the summer months, to see the sunset.
