Geocache Description:

Quick cache and dash on a quiet single track road

It is wheelchair accessible however may need assistance to retrieve the cache.

Cache is a lock n lock container with some swaps.

After 30 years of living nearby, I have only recently visited Powfoulis Manor and this cache gives a lovely view of the Manor House.

It is believed that the earliest part of the Manor was built around 1600 by the Bruce family. The Powfoulis estate remained in the hands of the family for 10 generations.
The Manor House was converted into a hotel in 1952.
