Cache is located in the Weeki Wachee Preserve. The preserve is open
from sunrise to sunset. Trail head parking area is just off Osowaw
Blvd. Trails are easy to follow and no bushwhacking is required.
Well maybe a few feet of bushwacking nothing serious. I didn't
think it was that bad. BYOP
There is lots of wildlife in the area, keep your eyes open and you
may see some. You can drive in the preserve on the second and
fourth Saturday of each month. A look at the satellite view to
see the trails and area may save you some hiking or biking and
bushwhacking. At certain times of the year insect repellent
will be a necessity. Don't forget to bring plenty of water, it gets
hot out here in the summer. This should be an easy find but a
little effort may be required. After rain terrain difficulty may
change.
