Cache with easy access from the bridge. Parents, look out for your kids, the Lee is quite fast there.
BYOP, thanks
The Daly's Pedestrian Suspension Bridge was opened in 1927.
Constructed primarily of wrought iron, the bridge spans 160 feet, and the timber planked walkway is four and a half feet wide.
The bridge takes its official name from Cork businessman James Daly, who contributed to the cost of the bridge. It's colloquial name (the "Shakey Bridge" or "Shaky Bridge") derives from the movement of the platform when running or jumping on the bridge.
Once you have found the cache and signed the logbook, please feel free to step on the bridge and let it swing... the nearby Fitzgerald Park invites you to stay, this spot is good for a moment of silence... at least concerning cars and motorbikes...
