Geocache Description:

I don't suggest hunting in the dark. If you must, tred carefully and carry a good flashlight. I say this because the cache is near Garden Creek. This cache is named either Deer or Dear. Dear because you can walk the path hand-in-hand with the other half or Deer because they share the trail too.

The creek banks here are steeper than anywhere else the creek flows (not dangerous if you know where you are). The terrain is buffalo grass over small holes so don't trip. It is just off the not too used walking path. I have seen deer in the immediate area and they probably use the trail more than most folks. This is however a recognized trail by the city.

Please hide as well or better than found. If log is near full or cache needs maintenance please advise in your comments.Thx.

Cache is a camo 35mm can and contains a FTF TB and log only. Be sure to bring your own writing stick.

On 6/28/2011 & on 10/15/11 I checked status after a request. The cache is in its original resting spot. I bumped the difficulty up a notch due to the camo. The area is safe and the cache is far enough from the creek edge so as not to worry. It is hidden well though. I'll also note that once you know where to look, it is visible from 8-10 feet away.

Congrats to Casperlookers - FTF!!
