Geocache Description:

I 'm a nano silver in colour.

Te Kauwhata is a small country town with big a heart. I have placed this nano on the original fire house in TK. Looking down the street you will see the newer fire house and the St Johns base. For small community these volunteers are some of the busiest i have come across. Most of their time is taken up with car accidents on sh1. In the old fire house is Te Kauwhatas second fire truck. It has been restored by members of the TK fire service and now is housed in its original building. Been taken out for special occasions ie xmas parades around the district. These people give up their own time from their families too helps us out when we need it day or night. If we all just slowed down and thought ahead hundreds of volunteers around New Zealand can enjoy their bbq's with their loved one just as much as we do.
