Geocache Description:

This is an easy 2 stage multi-cache in the Town of Timnath Park located near Timnath Reservoir.

Access the park from the south using County Road 40; the north entrance is blocked by a gate.

Start your hunt at the parking lot. The listed coordinates will take you to the first stage where you'll be looking for a small container nestled in a natural hiding spot. This container holds the coordinates to the final cache location.

This cache is kid friendly, but please keep an eye on your children. There's plenty of room to run but beware of the prairie dog holes and other natural hazards like bugs, snakes, and cactus just to name a few.

This park has some strict rules so please obey all posted signs. Stay away from the water tank; it's not part of the park. There is a boat ramp for non-motorized boats but a permit from the Town of Timnath is required for any boating activities. Swimming nor wading is not allowed.

The park is open from 7:30am to 7:30 pm in the Summer, and 9:00am to 4:00pm in the winter. Please abide by these hours when looking for the cache.

You may encounter a Town of Timnath employee monitoring the park activities. Please be polite and cooperative if you have any interaction with this person. The park caretaker knows there is a geocache.
