If you are looking for a break from the UTSA P&G series, try the wellness trail series. This is a 4-cache nature series on UTSA west campus. The caches are along well established trails and no bushwhacking is required. Easy hike for all ages. Just like the UTSA Series, these are family, kid friendly caches. Due to being along the trail, the muggle factor is considerably lower.
Easy parking near the beginning of trail near the field but take into consideration the time of day and week. Parking and Transportation take parking VERY seriously at UTSA. It is recommended to cache on the weekend. Bring your own pen.
UTSA established in 1969 by the State Legislature. UTSA is the largest university in San Antonio, serving over 30,000 students. UTSA offers a wide variety of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs. In addition, UTSA is a NCAA Division I university with 17 sports. UTSA Football begins in 2011 so look out for the Roadrunners. See www.utsa.edu for more info to help navigate the campus.
Cache is located behind the UTSA Facilities Services Annex. Cache should be hunted from the south using the trails.
