Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Geocache Description:


First of a series of two caches hidden in a surprisingly rural location just 2 miles out of Leeds City Centre. Both caches are just off the public footpath.

The caches are filled with toys from fast food restaurant children’s meals. Please swap accordingly, and, as always, be respectful to wildlife and the environment.

Vehicle entry and parking area can be reached from Sugar Well Road. Opening hours are 1000-1600. If you are staying to explore please visit the visitor centre or shop to pay the small admission fee: adults £1.00, children over 12 £0.50, children under 12 free.

Number 1 is close to the Wildlife Pond, which can be reached from behind the cafe or from a public footpath from the main Meanwood Rd.

To reach number 2: Take the main path through the farm until you reach the poly-tunnels, then take the small path up the hill to the wildlife woodland.
