Very small container, holds the log and a pencil only.
I have been enjoying the Hoosier National Forest for over 15 years; either riding my horse or hiking. This has always been here, why they left it, I have no idea....maybe it was forgotten about. Or maybe it is a reminder to us that this land was once somebody's family farm. Lots of older family farms had their own junk yards out behind the barn. It is neat to ponder on how it got there, who owned it new and what kind of a life has it led?
Many of these trails out here were county roads at one time, maybe it broke down on the way to the Callahan Cemetary.....it seems as that is so.
You can park at the trail head if you wish. Cords are: N 38.58.369
