Another cache in the "Wot No" series. A small virtual cache overlooking the Loch of Loirston
The Loch of Loirston is a large green belt area on the south side of the city of Aberdeen. The location of the cache is where Aberdeen City Council have approved the building of a new football stadium on a nature reserve !!! What you will see today is a variety of wild life which will be gone shortly as the builders move in. Some wildlife will move away on their own others like the deer that have lived there for generations will be culled as they will be deemed a danger to the area that is built. Please visit the area and experience all the wildlife before it disappears forever and future generations will never get to enjoy this park. Update The Stadium have been earmarked for another location so Cache containers have been put back into action. In wet weather wellies or waterproof footwear are advisable. Cache has been moved from the bird hide as they have all been vandalised and were unsafe to have the cache near, hopefully the new hiding place works. Please make sure that the cache is covered up again when place back as there are a lot of dog walkers in this area.
