The Long Jetty Traditional Cache
Bunjil: CO has failed to respond to cache logs or indicate that the issue/concern/adjustment will be addressed.
As there has not been any response from the cache owner, I am archiving this cache to allow someone else to place a cache in this iconic location.

Located in Port Welshpool it is a natural deep-sea port, and is one of the most southerly towns on the Australian mainland.
The Long Jetty, which opened in 1939, is one kilometre long, and said to be the longest in the Southern Hemisphere !!
The Jetty is no longer operational.
This is team Nautilus7497 very first Cache placement. We have made it an easy one in a location that had No other Cache's in the town.
For the First to Find there is a full size Australian flag. We have left a number of collectible cute mini-erasers for swaps.
This tiny' town is popular with fishermen, fisher women and boating enthusiasts. Just 2 minute's down the road is a pub, shop and a lovely Park with full amenities. There is also a caravan park.
Placed in honour of our love for the sea.
