A small clip-lock box hidden off the ground in one of Brighton's lovely parks.
I was brought up in this area and have many happy memories of playing in this park, and walking my neighbour's dog here.
The cache is placed just off one of the main paths through the woodland, but please take care as the slope can be slippery. This cache comes with the added challenge of variable GPS reception due to tree cover, and is also likely to be affected by vegetation growth at some times of year.
To keep in touch with my childhood area I'm now one of the Friends of Withdean Park, a group of volunteers who help to maintain the park and its beautiful collection of lilacs. See the park notice boards for details of our monthly work mornings!
