Geocache Description:

The Drovers Retreat should be an easy find, just off the Princes Highway

This cache is for my Great Uncle Ted a well known Kingston identity of years gone by. He was a drover and it is believed that he was one of the first drovers to bring sheep across the Darling Downs to this area. In his later years he lived in a single room stone hut, close to the cypress pines . The cache is in a 2litre sistema container and contains a few swaps the kids may enjoy. There is a parking bay nearby where you can find a memorial to a Policeman who was killed while transporting a prisoner. The geokids will need some supervision as it is beside the highway.Be fair with the swaps.
