The listed coordinates are for the car park which is situated in the recreation park.
The cache is located not too far away. It is in a small hinged plastic box in a plastic bag. There is room for a few swappables
This a circular route around the village and is mainly flat and suitable for buggies and wheelchairs although there are some grassy paths and one stile which can be avoided.
Fownhope Village dates back to Norman times and is mentioned in the domesday book. . Any one interested in the history of Fownhope can find out more on the village website at www.fownhope.org.uk
There are many interesting buildings to be seen on this circular walk of just under a mile collecting answers which, when all are found and worked out will give you the coordinates to reach the cache.
There are no coordinates given for the clues but you should not have too much trouble
finding the answers.
The original map shown on the notice board in the car park has now been replaced with a standard OS map so the answers to Q1 Q2 and Q3 are no longer shown, the answers are given next to the questions below. Walk back towards the church and in an anti clockwise direction around the village.
