Larson's Lot is a Wildlife Management Area that is connected to Salmon River State Forest. It is controlled by DEP,State of Connecticut. The area is used for hunting so make sure you wear blaze orange during hunting season. It is located on Shailor Hill Rd. off RT149 in Colchester Ct.
The area is a series of old roads, paths, etc. and can become confusing. Make sure you mark a waypoint for where your vehicle is parked. Also, the area is very thick in places with briars. It is highly recommended that long pants are worn.
The cache is a 35mm film container and is hidden well.
