Geocache Description:

Cache # 6 of 6 Caches

The Beach House:
Located along the 50 acre fully stocked lake are two beach houses for weeknight and weekend rentals. This facility is fully furnished with a queen size bed and pull out couch, living room, bathroom, kitchen, and outdoor deck. Pets are permitted with an additional fee. This is a smoke free environment. Visitors can check-in after 3pm and must check-out by 11am.
Primitive Cabins:
Located in the campgrounds are two rustic cabins. Both cabins contain four bunk beds, a ceiling fan, and electricity. No matter what, there is someplace to stay and enjoy a weekend at Mountwood Park.
And now on with the cache. Beginning at Copperhead Trailhead, across the road from parking, you will work your way along the trail by following the lights in the night. All you have to do now is follow the lights until you find a bright red reflector. At that point your hunt begins. Fire tacks will lead you deep into the forest to the hidden treasures of Mountwood. After claiming the bounty, return to the red reflector and continue on the trail to the path that leads you back to your starting point. A total of six red reflectors will be your goal for the evening. You will encounter many small stream crossings, switchbacks, and dangers on the trail as you work your way through the night to the final cache. Haunting cries of the times past can still be heard. The eyes of the night watch your every move. Beware and keep a constant vigil of your surroundings. NEVER loose the trail or you may wonder aimlessly about until the early morning light.
It should take close to 2 hours to complete.
I hope you enjoy your time at Mountwood Park.
